The Kelsey Smith Foundation has been awarded the FBI Director's Director’s Community Leadership Award for the Kansas City Area. Each area FBI field office selects one group that has demonstrated outstanding contributions to their local communities through service.

We at the Foundation are grateful to the FBI for their nomination of us. We are also keenly aware that the progress we have made is due to the undying support and dedication of the countless volunteers who take time from their busy lives to help. Greg and Missey will travel to Washington, D.C. to accept the award on March 19, 2010 on behalf of the Board of Directors for the Kelsey Smith Foundation.

We pledge to continue the work of safeguarding youth and young adults through awareness, education and service programs. Together we will make a difference.
